About Evaluation
Questions Evaluation Can Help You Answer
Evaluation questions are determined by what information you need to make good decisions about your program, policy, or organization. However, there are some basic questions that are often asked in an evaluation:
- What are the needs of our client group?
- How can we operate more efficiently?
- What initiatives have been demonstrated to be effective in addressing a specific problem that we are facing?
- Why is this intervention not working, and how can we turn it around?
- What aspects of our program contribute to its success?
- Are we meeting our goals? Why or why not?
- How can we monitor our activities and outcomes?
- To which of these programs should we devote our resources in order to best serve our client group?
